Pretty Dresses

We bought these Kerala dresses while we were in India. The girls were so pretty wearing them to church back in March!

We quickly discovered that the skirts needed some 'work' in order to work for our girls, like elastic in the waist and shortened (for Jenna).
They were so proud to wear something representing Gospel for Asia!

A Playdate (I actually caught on camera)

A visit from friends, Simon & Evie. Granted, this was the end of March, but still...they're fun pictures.
They arrived just in time for some yummy pancakes for breakfast.
Evie loved the yogurt. We headed outside to play and spent the rest of the morning enjoying the backyard!
Asa sat inside for a bit and "read" with Evie. They were adorable!

A visit from Jeremy

I realized as I looked back through some recent pictures that I missed out on some neat blog entries. Here goes a string of back-posting!

Our friend Jeremy came to visit in March. Yep, a whole month ago! We had a great time with him. Our kids absolutely love Jeremy and enjoyed the attention.
Jeremy was about 16 years old when we first moved to Harrisburg to serve on staff at New Love. Joel and I were blessed to spend a good amount of time with Jeremy as he finished high school and began college.
He was a part of the small group we hosted in our home before we had kids. He also came to the hospital when Rylee was born (and brought us Oreo shakes from Friendly's....great guy!). We had the privilege of praying over him and anointing him for ministry as we prepared to let some of our older youth lead the younger students.
We just can't say enough wonderful things about Jeremy.
What a blessing that he would travel down to Texas to spend some of his Spring Break with us!
We took him to downtown Dallas. He helped us moved some plants around in our backyard. And, we took him on the trolley. It was fun!
Jeremy, we love you!
